Learn about activation, Form 1583, scanning, forwarding, address use, and account policies.
What is a virtual mailbox?
A virtual mailbox provides a mailing address where eligible mail is received and managed according to your instructions.
How will I know when mail arrives?
P0B provides an arrival notification so you can decide what action to request.
What is USPS Form 1583?
Form 1583 authorizes a commercial mail receiving agency to receive mail on your behalf. Complete documentation and acceptable identification are required.
Can P0B open and scan my mail?
Open-and-scan service may be requested for eligible items. Current per-item or per-page charges should be shown on your pricing page.
Can you forward mail and packages?
Forwarding may be requested. Postage, shipping, packaging, and handling fees may apply.
Can I use the address for a business?
The address may be used for many types of business correspondence, but requirements vary. Confirm eligibility with banks, licensing agencies, government offices, insurers, and online listing platforms.
Can I use the address as proof of residency?
Do not assume a virtual mailbox qualifies as a residential address or proof of residency. Confirm the requirements of the organization requesting the address.
How long does activation take?
Timing depends on receiving complete payment, an acceptable Form 1583, and valid identification. Publish your normal review timeframe before launch.
Is my mail private?
P0B should handle mail according to its privacy, security, and employee-access procedures. Customize the privacy policy to match your actual operations.
How do I cancel?
Cancellation and renewal rules should be stated in the customer agreement and refund policy before customers pay.
